Mahwah, N..J. (03/04/22) The Dominican College 4x100m relay team Ezra Evans (Greensboro, North Carolina), Dariel Suarez (North Bergen, New Jersey), Brian Thompson (North Bergen, NJ) and Lowell Pierrette (Elmsford, NY) won the event at the 2022 Ramapo Track and Field Invitational held on the campus of Ramapo College in New Jersey yesterday.

Launcher Adam Len (Thiells, NY) set a new school record in the discus and shot put events.

The team compiled a score of 30 to finish in 11th place overall.

Better performance

  • The team of Evans, Suarez, Thompson and Pierrette ran the race in a time of 42.99 to win the event.
  • In the high jump, brandon adams (Highland Mills, NY) took second place with a jump of 1.80m (5’10.75″)
  • Lenn finished fourth in the discus event with a throw of 42.50m (139’5″).

Other representations

  • Jumper Kenney Lawrence (Pomona, NY) finished sixth in the long jump with a jump of 5.94m (19’6″).
  • Lenn took seventh place in the shot put with a throw of 12.17m (39’11.25″)
  • At 200m, Thompson had the high finish of eighth place with a time of 23.04. Evans finished in 15th place with a time of 23:30 and Matthew Macias (Emerson, NJ) took 52nd place with a time of 30.64.
  • Evans finished eighth in the 100m with a time of 11.50. During the preliminaries, Thompson took ninth place with a time of 11.45 and Suarez finished in 20th place with a time of 11.79.
  • Also competing in the shot put was Louis Rodriguez (Monsey, NY) who finished in ninth place with a throw of 10.81m (35′ 5.75″) and Vincent Faison (Chester, NY) took 16th place with a throw of 7.80m (25’7.25″).
  • Rodriguez also competed in the discus throw where he finished in 10th place with a throw of 33.71m (110’7″).
  • The hammer throw saw Laurent Ribiero (Cortlandt Manor, NY) takes 14th place with a throw of 29.73m (97’6″).
  • First-year student Daniel Pinille (Blauvelt, NY) competed in the 5000m and finished in 26th place with a time of 19:18.53.
  • Olatunji Adewole (North Plainfield, NJ) took 24th place in the 400m with a time of 54.65 and Steven Smith (Yonkers, NY) finished in 31st place with a time of 57.11.


The Chargers will travel to Vassar College next Friday when they take part in the Twilight Meet.
