Awaziem wins the match against Hadjuk Split

Super Eagles defender Chidozie Awaziem continued his goalscoring form by scoring again for Hadjuk Split on Saturday night.

Awaziem scored one of the goals to give Hajduk Split a 2-1 win at home to visitors Varazdin in the Croatian league.

The former FC Porto defender scored a timeout to give Hajduk Split maximum points on Saturday.

The 25-year-old has now scored the winner for his side in consecutive games, having netted in last Sunday’s 1-0 win at Rijeka.

He has three goals in all competitions for the club, since joining them in the summer.

The win extends Hajduk Split’s unbeaten streak to six games, including four wins and two draws.

Hajduk Split remain second in the standings with 23 points, behind leaders Dinamo Zagreb.
