LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) – Nebraska linebacker JoJo Domann says his career with the Cornhuskers ended after left hand surgery. The sixth-year elder made the announcement on his podcast. He said he injured a finger at the start of the Oct. 30 game against Purdue. He played one of his best games of the season last week against Ohio State. He made nine tackles, intercepted a pass and broke two more. Domann played 51 games and ended his career with 209 tackles. His 133 solo tackles rank 11th in the school‘s all-time standings.
MADISON, Wisconsin (AP) – Wisconsin vow not to overlook Northwestern as the 20th-ranked Badgers try to secure their sixth straight victory and move closer to a spot for a Big Ten championship game. The injuries from their 17-7 loss to Northwestern last season are still too fresh. Wisconsin was ranked 10th last year before losing to No. 19 Northwestern. The result saw Northwestern claim the Big Ten West Division title while starting a three-game slippage for Wisconsin. Wisconsin will play this game without the race leader Chez Mellusi after suffering a knee injury ending the season.
